FISH update
Parenting Consultation - Sensemaker Project
A big Thank you to all those who distributed and/or took part in the parenting consultation using the new Sensemaker software that you used by following a link or downloading an app.  We received over 350 responses which is a very healthy representation of what parents’ experiences really are and what’s important.
The prizes of an ipad and Love to Shop vouchers have been distributed to those selected from these 350 people, through a prize draw.
The experiences and responses shared by parents are being analysed and a report and headlines from this work will be distributed when the analysis is complete.  We look forward to sharing our findings and also how it has affected the Parenting Strategy (currently in development).

Going way beyond an Education, Health and Care Plan:
‘The words Person Centred are at the heart of Education, Health and Care plans.’
This workshop will inform you of what those words actually mean in practice to you and your child.  By being really person centred we can enrich our children's lives to make sure that their thoughts and voices are central to home, community and in school.   It can also make a difference to our own values and how we interact with professionals and services.  This workshop will give you some tools to use in your everyday life whether you have an EHC plan or not.  We will look at the history of person centred approaches and some simple tools to use.  We will look at 1 page profiles and discuss ways in which they can be used.  We will share ideas and resources of how working in a person centred way really does make a difference.
This will be a popular workshop – Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Contact Karen email: to book your place.
