Army Welfare Service Community Centre Activities - 2017

Sure Start Play Sessions Every Tuesday 1pm to 2.30pm (Free Session)

Leanne & Louise our Sure Start Workers run weekly stay and play sessions in the Community Centre for all children in the Leconfield area Military & Civilian.
The sessions are for all pre-school children, toddlers and babies, each week the sure start team organise several fun activities in the Community Centre for parents and children to take part in.
In the current financial climate we have fought hard to keep sure start team on camp so please support this session, if you do not it will have to stop.
No excuses this is a free professionally run session on your doorstep and its great fun what more do you need? So next Tuesday tell your friends and get down to the Community Centre and have a great time with the kids you won’t be disappointed.

Lads & Dads Open Age Football Session
(Over 18’s Proposed Thursday evening 8pm to 9pm)
After speaking to a few parents before and after youth club, a fair few have shown interest in running a football session for permanent staff, ex-military and civilian dads who still have one good game left in them, let’s be honest we all do! The idea of this session is to have a bit of fun, bit of fitness with likeminded lads or dads who might be interested in a kick about for an hour. I’m looking to run the session on the astro pitch on camp every Thursday, If you’re interested get in touch let’s see if we can get enough interested to start this session.
